Final Details
After the concrete has cured for about a week, remove the forms. The concrete is still somewhat "green" and edges may chip easily, so use caution for the first few weeks. Now is a good time to shoot spray-foam insulation in any open joints in the trench foamboard, ensuring thermal break integrity.
Completed foundation with floor base brought to proper elevation and compacted.
Finally, slope the grade just outside of the foundation away from the structure to assist runoff removal. Now, on to the floor!
